The Grafton Legion is working with the Friends of Grafton Sports and Activities, to add a new name to the Cenotaph in Grafton. Major Michelle Knight Mendes, fallen in Afghanistan April 23, 2009, a young Grafton area woman who died serving her country, will be added in recognition of her service during the Afghanistan conflict.
We’ll be holding a ceremony July 28, 2018 at 11am at the Cenotaph, in front of the Haldimand Memorial Arena on Highway 2.
