Another enjoyable but busy night.
Volunteers were in at 5:30 this morning working on potatoes, thats 50 pounds of potatoes, and then off to prepare and cook 17 large meat loaves. A lot were Gluten Free and a couple had no onions. All freshly baked this morning.
Time the dinner bell rang at 4pm sharp, it was non stop and at the end when the last two groups came in after 6, we served 140 meals.
We had some extra volunters helping at dinner time and they sure came in handy.
Next week is Chilli with rice.
