The Grafton Legion is working with the Friends of Grafton Sports and Activities, to add a new name to the Cenotaph in Grafton.
Major Michelle Knight Mendes, fallen in Afghanistan April 23, 2009, a young Grafton area woman who died serving her country, will be added in recognition of her service during the Afghanistan conflict.
Join us at the Cenotaph Engraving Ceremony at 11am on Saturday July 28th at the Cenotaph in Grafton, in front of the Arena. Everyone is welcome back to the Legion afterwards for a light lunch.
