On Saturday, April 16, 2016, the RCL Ontario Command held the Public Speaking Competition at Norwood Branch 300 for Area F & G. The two competitors from Branch 580 performed well! These two young men have gone deep into this competition. They have each written their respective speeches, competed in their classroom, the Branch, Zone, District and Area levels. There is only one level left: Provincial.
Ethan competed and achieved a runner-up position at the Area F & G level in his division of Junior (Grades 4-6). Congratulations Ethan and be proud of your accomplishments!
Sam competed and achieved first place position at the Area F & G level in his division of Intermediate (Grade 7-9). Sam will advance and compete in the Ontario Command, Provincial Public Speaking Competition at London, Ontario on May 7, 2016. Congratulations and the best of luck in London, Sam!
